Who we are

DXB Creek Harbour is an independent property showcase. It is run by the operator of this website, an independent Dubai real-estate broker (licence details available on request), and in this notice "we", "us" and "the operator" mean that Dubai real-estate broker.

We are not Emaar Properties PJSC, the developer of the projects shown on this site. Emaar does not own, operate or endorse this site.

The site shows information about Emaar projects in Dubai Creek Harbour: Emaar's own published figures and registered sales and tenancy contracts from Dubai Land Department registration records. This notice is about the personal details we collect from you, not that market information.

What we collect, and where it comes from

Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we ask for your name and your phone or WhatsApp number. You can also give an email address and your country of residence. The form asks which language you prefer, which project interests you, what you are looking for, whether you are buying a home or an investment, how many bedrooms you want, your budget band, your timing, how you plan to pay, and a free-text message. We also record the page you were on and the time you sent the form.

The form has a hidden field that people never see. It exists only to catch automated spam.

WhatsApp. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and whatever you write. WhatsApp (Meta) handles the message under its own terms.

Server logs. The company that hosts the website keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry and to follow up about the projects you asked about, in the language you chose.

If you ask us to register your interest with the developer, we pass the details needed for that to the developer. We do not do this unless you ask.

We do not use your details for anything else.

Who else handles your data

Three companies handle data on our behalf so the site can work: the hosting provider, the database provider and, when we switch it on, the email-delivery provider. Each may use your data only to provide its service to us, and none of them may use it for their own marketing.

Hosting provider: runs the website and keeps the server logs.

Database provider: a cloud provider stores enquiries in a database on our behalf. Only the operator can see enquiries, behind a password.

Email-delivery provider: when we switch this on, each enquiry is also emailed to the operator through an email-delivery provider.

Two other companies receive data directly from you or your browser, and handle it under their own terms and privacy rules, which we do not control:

WhatsApp (Meta): messages you send on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

Google Fonts: the site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google's servers receive the font request when a page loads.

We do not sell your data

We never sell your details and never pass them to anyone for their marketing. The only time your details go to the developer is when you ask us to register your interest in a project.

Cookies and tracking

At present the site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics scripts.

The only technical data collected when you browse is the hosting provider's server logs and the Google Fonts request described above. If that changes, we will update this notice.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry while it is open and for up to 24 months after that, so we can follow up if a project you asked about changes. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.

Messages on WhatsApp are kept under WhatsApp's own terms. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for its security and operations.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your details, or stop contacting you.

Send the request by email or WhatsApp using the contact details below. Tell us which number or email address you used so we can find your enquiry.

Links to other sites

Pages on this site link to Emaar's website and brochures (PDFs) and to Google Maps. Those sites have their own terms and privacy rules, which we do not control. Check them before you share anything there.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the site changes, for example if we add email delivery, analytics or a new provider. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

Governing law

This notice is governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute about it.
